Paul Cooney
This Blog is driven by my ideology. It is simplistic and does not provide clean, easy solutions to the problems we face, but its idealism is derived from my basic philosophy that there is unlimited good in humanity that makes us different from other life forms. We need to loosen the burdens of that which limits us, the forms of man-made society which fetter and restrict us. As always the rules which govern us are created by the few, in order to retain power and control over the majority. Our society is based on the entirely unnatural philosophy of greed not need. Our reward systems are based on material wealth, not on respect or self-esteem. The rulers argue that competition and the market improves us, and without competition we would not be driven to improve the human condition. Consider that the great inventions have all arisen from the thoughts/minds/activity of human beings. Do we really believe that these would not have come into being without the drivers of financial/material reward? The answer is a definite NO!
